Wednesday, July 1, 2026 1 min read
St. Mark's College today hosted a Mega Blood Donation Drive, bringing together students, staff, and members of the school community in support of a lifesaving cause. The initiative was organized in partnership with the Rotary Club as part of its continued commitment to community service and humanitarian outreach. The exercise was led by DGE Omukungu Daniel Mukasa Damulira, who is the Director of St. Mark's College and is a leader within the Rotary community. Through his leadership and dedication to service, the blood donation campaign has provided an opportunity for eligible students and staff to make a meaningful contribution towards saving lives. Speaking on the importance of the initiative, the school emphasized that voluntary blood donation is a vital act of compassion that helps ensure hospitals maintain an adequate supply of blood for patients in need. St. Mark's College extends its sincere appreciation to the Rotary Club, DGE Omukungu Daniel Mukasa Damulira, the medical teams, and everyone who participated in making the event a success. The school remains committed to promoting community service, leadership, and the values of giving back to society.
