St. Mark’s College Namagoma (SMACON) has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence in technology and innovation after its talented students earned national recognition at the prestigious Website Competitions held at Bishop Stuart College Mwiri (BCMwiri). The competition, organized by Steve Uganda in partnership with WordPress, brought together some of the brightest young minds from schools across the country to showcase their creativity, digital skills, and web development expertise. The event provided a platform for students to apply their knowledge in real-world technological challenges while competing against peers from various institutions. The SMACON team delivered an outstanding performance, impressing judges with their technical competence, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Their dedication and hard work culminated in the awarding of Certificates of Honor, recognizing their remarkable achievement and contribution to the field of digital innovation. The students received their certificates in the presence of the Head of the ICT Department, Mr. Kisekka James, whose guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support played a significant role in preparing the learners for the competition. His commitment to nurturing technological talent continues to inspire students to pursue excellence in the digital world. Speaking after the event, the students expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the national competition and highlighted the valuable experience gained through interacting with fellow innovators, technology enthusiasts, and industry experts. This achievement reflects St. Mark’s College Namagoma’s ongoing investment in ICT education and its mission to equip learners with the skills necessary to thrive in the modern digital economy. Through practical learning experiences, technology clubs, and participation in national competitions, the school continues to nurture future leaders, innovators, and technology professionals. The administration, staff, parents, and the entire SMACON community extend heartfelt congratulations to the students and the ICT Department for this remarkable accomplishment. Their success serves as an inspiration to fellow learners and reinforces the school's reputation as a center of academic and technological excellence. As technology continues to shape the future, St. Mark’s College Namagoma remains committed to empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to make a positive impact in society. Congratulations to our champions for making SMACON proud!
