Welcome Home, SMOSA – Celebrating the Joy of Reunion, Friendship and the Lasting Bond of Our Old Students

There are moments that remind us that school is more than classrooms, books and examinations. It is a place where friendships are born, memories are created and lifelong connections begin. The SMOSA Homecoming Dinner 2026, held on 15th August 2026, was one of those special moments. It was a great joy to welcome our old students back home. Seeing former students return, reconnect with friends, share memories and once again spend time within the community that was once their daily home made the occasion truly memorable. Thank You for Coming Home To every SMOSA member who attended the Homecoming Dinner, thank you. Thank you for taking time from your families, careers, businesses and other responsibilities to come back home. Your presence made the occasion meaningful and demonstrated that the bond created during your school years remains strong. Your continued connection with the school is deeply appreciated. Every conversation, handshake, smile and shared memory reminded us that while the years may pass and people may follow different paths in life, the SMOSA family remains connected. Home Will Always Welcome You For some, it may have been years since walking through these familiar surroundings. For others, it was another opportunity to meet former classmates and friends. Whatever the journey has been, it was wonderful to have you home again. The Homecoming Dinner was not only about remembering the past. It was also about celebrating the people you have become and looking forward to an even stronger SMOSA community. We hope the friendships renewed during this gathering will continue beyond the dinner and that even more old students will join future SMOSA activities. To the entire SMOSA family, wherever you are in Uganda and across the world, this will always be home, and you will always be welcome. Thank you for making the SMOSA Homecoming Dinner 2026 a beautiful and memorable occasion. Welcome home, SMOSA. Welcome back to where the journey began. Once a SMACONIAN, always a SMACONIAN.
